vFIL characteristics
- Min. staking = 0.5 FIL
- vFIL unstaking period: 0~520 days (flexible)
- Used bridges: Custom
- OpenGov: No
- Ledger support: Yes (See the Ledger support announcement)
- Reward fee: 10% (applies to rewards only)
- Unstake fee: 0.1% (applies to unstake amount)
There are 2 options to unstake FIL from vFIL:
- Full unstaking request (you retain full vFIL value)
- Lightning mode (you swap at market price, most of the time you won't get full value)
Unstake vFIL
Go to the Unstake tab to visualize the vFIL unstaking queue, click on “Total unstaking”. The unstaking queue will give you an raw estimation of unstaking period: the fewer in the queue, the quicker your unstaking request will proceed.
