• Min. staking = 0.5 DOT
• vDOT unstaking period: 0~28 days (flexible)
• OpenGov: Yes
• Used bridges: XCM
• Ledger support: No (Ledger does not support parachains yet - expected Q3 2024)
• Reward fee: 5% (apply to rewards only)
• Unstake fee: 0.1% (apply to unstake amount)

Get DOT on Bifrost

Before minting and using vDOT you first need to hold DOT in the Bifrost network. Prepare DOT on your wallet address on the relay chain:

• Purchase DOT on CEX or DEX
• Buy DOT with credit card with fiat on-ramp solutions (i.e Banxa)
• Withdraw from other ecosystem parachains (Hydration, Moonbeam, Astar, Interlay...)

1. Login to app.bifrost.io and confirm the network in the upper right corner is Polkadot
